Nucleus Portland's annual Salut! coaster show is coming up soon! June 2 - 28, 2023
Earlier this year I had a bunch of thumbnail sketches of individuals floating in their own vessels usually without any sails, paddles, or means to move themselves – each person subject to the current. My intention is to make a continues series of paintings with similar visuals and the Salut! show was the perfect gateway to creating these.
This is the first of 5 coasters for Salut! 9.
