I've been chipping away at this one for a couple weeks now. Previously I had transferred the drawing over to the wood panel, punched up the line work and blocked in some shadows. Afterwards did a burnt umber wash over the entire thing and started bring out the lights.
I actually forgot to take some stills between the top and bottom photos, but as you can see, I started introducing some colors and textures.
I'm pretty close to completion I think. All I have left now is to clean up the sandman a bit, finish up the background, maybe add back in some texture with a color wash and then voila! The Dreaming will be done. More to come soon!
