The Moirai Scissors - Time Lapse 4

Really bring up the highlights some more in the final stages of this painting. Similar to the monochromatic phase of the painting, I'm using white first to punch everything up and then glaze skin tones over the white once it's dry.

You'll also see me using tape here to clean up the bard's bow. Using tape only is a great way to mask things off, but it doesn't always produce clean results. One trick I've learned through the years is that If you paint the masked area with clear medium first then paint over that with your desired colors, you'll prevent any bleeding underneath the tape.  

After everything is cleaned up and finished, its time to seal everything up with acrylic medium.
